I have been allotted B.Tech (ME) seat in Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology. How is this institution?

Yes, mechanical is good in this college because there are two branches for mechanical one is manufacture engineering and other is welding engineering. There are many teams in this college like go kart and other ones they won national level awards. For placement this college is not so good. This college is situated in a very rural area. For mechanical engineering this college is good but for placement this college is not so good. The first JEE Mains batch of 2014 will pass out next year so may be placement will become good from the next year. -

Sant Longowal is a very good college, so you can go for it without any worries, however the placements stats of the college is also improving from past few years.
