I have chosen botany for my PG that i am pursuing but not satisfied as i don't find any future in it. Have I admitted to wrong field??

Yes indeed your selection of PG specialization is not appropriate as the subject contents and syllabus of Botany is no more relevant. Instead, you should have gone for micro-biology or bio-technology.
