I have cleared jee mains exam but the marks are very less. In case i don't get a govt. college, should i drop for one year ?

My marks are very less in jee mains but i have clered the cuttoff. I want Computer eng. trade. If i won't get this trade in NIT's should i prepare for 1 year for IIT ?

No don't waste your preciuos 1 year dude ...Thier r many SFI's in india which competes with NIT's and IIIT's .. After 1 year what will happen no one knows because various news is coming about jee that it is going to change patterns & systems etc .. so dont waste your 1 year go for other institutes

yes of course u can drop an year u must target ur self for getting a good seat in an reputed engineering college and nothing else matters

yes drop is better option .. as u have approx 11 months then u can easily get better score if u study hard these 11 months. Best Of Luck RITESH AGGARWAL

if u are well determined then u must go for it as u will have around 10 months for preparation purpose only.

Yes you may drop but in my opinion don't waste one precious year try some private colleges like thappar ,bits, vit , SRM , lpu (which is good in cse and mba only) , AIT PUNE and there are many more which are good and come along IIT, NIT'S, IIIT'S

If you have a confidence on you and willing to get IITs than you can go for it, but be sure that you are mentally prepared for the preparation and handle the pressure.
