    Indeed, candidates who successfully complete the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) for Lectureship may also be given consideration for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). After being awarded a Lectureship, you will automatically qualify for a JRF if you meet the CSIR requirements. However, being eligible for JRF does not guarantee that you will be selected straight away. Candidates interested in the JRF fellowship must indicate during the application process that they would desire to be considered for the fellowship in addition to fulfilling any additional requirements set forth by CSI

    Yes, applicants for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) may also be considered if they passed the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) for Lectureship. If you fulfill the requirements set forth by CSIR, you will immediately be eligible for a JRF once you have been granted a Lectureship. But being qualified for JRF does not ensure that you will be chosen right away.
