I have completed 12th in Tamil Nadu. I got ECE in Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College. Can I write JEE exam to get admission in IITs?

Hello Rudramurthe,
Yes, you can. There are totally 3 attempts for JEE Mains and 2 for JEE Advanced. So you can give the exam next year. But you need to withdraw your admission from the college to seek admission into NITs. -
For IITs you should clear JEE Advanced paper and JEE takes MCQ type questions, not written paper.

No, Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College is not an autonomous college. This college is a private college and it is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, and offers courses under the Anna University affiliation.
It offers B.Tech in 7 specializations that cost around INR 2 Lakhs and M.Tech that costs around 50,000. The college accepts TNEA for B.Tech and GATE, CEETA for M.Tech.
I hope it will help.
