I have completed 12th(Science) and my optional was Computer Science(C+). Which branch of engineering will be better for me?

I should go for B.Tech Computer Science or IT? Which branch has more scope? Please explain in detail ! I want to be a programmer and deal with software thats why I left Computer as choice now I am confused between Computer Science and IT? Please help me and explain detail ! Thank You !

Go fro CSE branch. IT branch was taken from CSE itself , in earlier times there was only CSE branch like ME was there and automobile engg was come out from ME. CSE is the parent domain. Hi Sneha, It all depends on your personal interest. you have computer Science as a additional subject, so u have an interest in computer science and programing. in this prospective you should prefer Computer science engineering and the Information Technology engineering.
