I have completed B.B.M degree. Do I have eligibility to do B.Ed

Hi Sunitha, You want to become a teacher. Which is why you want to pursue Bachelor of Education. But you have BBM, I suggest you to do MBA. You can get far better jobs with MBA degree than B.Ed. The teaching job is not going to pay you as good salary as some management related job. Therefore I will recommend you to stop thinking about becoming teacher. But your passion is to become a Teacher then continue reading. You are eligible. with a BBM degree If you are interested in government teaching job then I should tell you that several state governments pay very small salary to the teachers. While to get central teacher job, you have to clear CTET exam which is quite difficult. More than 90 percent candidates fail to clear this exam. If you are so interested in teaching profession then I would suggest you to become college lecturer. There are government opportunities in this field as well. You can appear for National Eligibility Test since by completing post graduation. Your subject for NET exam would be management. If cleared you will become college lecturer. I think this is far better option then pursuing Bachelor of Education and then applying for school teacher job. NET Eligibility 1. You should be of Indian origin. 2. A post graduation degree in any discipline. 3. Minimum of 55 percent marks in post graduation. 4. SC/ST candidates need 50 percent marks. 5. Final year students can also apply for NET. 6. Since you have completed MBA, your NET subject would be Management. 7. There is no limit on number of attempts. 8. The age limit for JRF is 28 years. 9. Hi Sunitha, You are eligible. with a BBM degree -B.Ed. that stands for Bachelor of Education is prerequisite for starting a career as junior school teacher. This is one year full time academic course that trains pursuers in the techniques of teaching and its significance. A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Education(B.Ed)provided: (i) The candidates who have undergone 10+2+3(15) or 11+1+3(15) pattern of study and passed the X and Xll examinations conducted by the respective state board or CBSE or any other recognized board of education/Examination and UG Degree examination of the UGC approved universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the directorate of school education at the secondary or higher secondary education level. If you are interested in teaching jobs in government sector, there are several state governments which offer a very low salary range to the teachers. While to get central teacher job, you have to clear CTET exam. You can also pursue a career as Lectureship as well. You can appear for National Eligibility Test since by completing post graduation. You can go for B.ed after a three year graduation degree , today b.ed is good for teaching in school
