I have completed B.Com from Bangalore University. Is it necessary to have 55% aggregate to enter IPCC after B.Com?

Should one get overall 55% or 55% in core subjects because my overall score is 53% but that of core subject’s is 55%? From core subjects, I mean the subjects except languages.
