MA in English Literature would be a better option in my view. Thereafter you must also try to clear the UGC NET exam.

MA English Literature +Net if you want to become an English Lecturer.M.A (Edun+Net)n if you want to become a lecturer in college of teacher education. Mu suggestion would be to go for latter as you already have a B.Ed. You may go for M.A. English through correspondence after settling down in a job.
