I have completed b.tech(cse) but want to make career in marketing bcoz in upcoming years i will do mba(marketing).What should i do?

I have completed b.tech with cse in 2014 but want to make career in marketing because its decided that i am going to do mba with marketing after getting work-ex of 3 years.My main concern is that presently whether should i search for a job based on my engineering stream or marketing?Please suggest

You can make career in marketing there is good scope and this give good earning but you only have to more hard work at starting , and engineering +MBA is also a good combination your technical degree +MBA will help you get good job , if you check out for IIM then MAX student have technical backgroun
