To pursue M.Tech computer science engineering, candidates need to pass B.E. / B.Tech in the relevant field with minimum 50% and 45% for reserved categories from a recognized university. Candidates need to sit for an entrance exam.

There are some Universities which permit that, especially deemed universities. Besides there are multidisciplinary courses too.
