I have completed BA and D.El.Ed, but I am not working as a teacher. Can I pursue B.Ed from IGNOU?

Hi,Candidates who wish to take up IGNOU B.Ed must be trained in-service teachers in elementary education. Candidates who have completed teacher education programme recognized by NCTE in a face-to-face mode are also eligible to apply. Candidates who have at least two years of teaching experience in primary or upper primary schools can also take up distance B.Ed course. As you don't have teaching experience you can't apply. With BA and D.El.Ed, you can become a teacher in elementary level (nursery to class 8th). There is no problem in pursuing B.Ed from IGNOU.
