Hello , you should go for PGDM instead of going for MBA , because PGDM is more objective and exposure providing as well as industry oriented course as compared to MBA which is a traditional course without any change in the curriculum from past so many year as well as theoretical based program . So you can opt for JIMS ROHINI , NDIM , etc .

    Hi Kamal,
Great! Congratulation for BBA. Now don't get confused b/w MBA & PGDM, The degree of MBA is offered by 'Universities' or 'Colleges that are affiliated to Universities'. There are many Colleges and Institutions that are affiliated to a university and can offer an MBA degree while PGDM is offered by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved Institutions. However, accreditation by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) gives an institute's PGDM equivalence to MBA. But, it has to be noted that a one-year PGDM course is not equivalent to MBA.

PGDM expands to Post Graduate Diploma in Management, the confusion starts when you see the term Diploma. Many students are of the view that it is a Diploma course and not a Degree; you are right to an extent that it is a Diploma. The main reason why postgraduate courses are named as PGDM is because when an Institute is an autonomous body (meaning it is not affiliated to any University) and conducts management courses then such Institutes cannot offer MBA degree. Even IIMs, XLRI's doesn't offer MBA degrees they only give PGP Diploma or PGDM since they are autonomous and independent bodies.

    Dear Kamal,
Please remember MBA degree is offered by universities, whereas PGDM is offered by AICTE approved institutes.
Both these course have almost the same course curriculum, Both are good but in PGDM there is very advance syllabus that's why IIM also give PGDM degree .
However please remember while taking admission, your emphasis should be more on taking admission in good universities or institutes.
You may consider some of the below mentioned points while selecting a institute or university to pursue MBA or PGDM program:
    - Accreditation of the institute.
    - Institute's infrastructure.
    - Teaching faculty.
    - Specialization offered.
    - Past pl

MBA is a very spreader field so as the career & scope it is also very bright field. It is a master degree course and it is a management course. If you want to do MBA then you should have minimum graduation from a recognized university. There is no need to have a particular stream in graduation any graduated can apply for the MBA course.need minimum 50% marks in graduation and for the SC/ST candidates they need minimum 45% marks. some common entrance exams for the MBA and try to get any IIM these are best for the MBA and for your future if you will get admission there. There are certain entrance exams also like MAT,GMAT,JMET,xat,cMAT etc
