NITS don't offer the B.Tech programme for Diploma holders. The next best option is LPU, where B.Tech is a 4 years. (8 Semesters). Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)It requires a pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST^. You can get admission in lateral entry in the third semester of B.Tech programme. ^LPUNEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) It would be a good choice to opt for LPU as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all-round development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of its students. Hello, With best of my knowledge I can say NITs doesn't offer Engineering. But you can have a look over other options. Admission depends upon your scores in Diploma. Minimum 60% is required in Diploma, plus there are some universities that also consider JEE or conduct their own entrance exam. Now you need to choose the best academic partner for yourself. The definition of best varies from person to person. The top engineering colleges in India in 2020 include 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIIT Hyderabad, BITS Pilani, ISM Dhanbad and many other private colleges. Some other good universities and private colleges in India include Jamia Millia Islamia, Lovely Professional University, Symbiosis, Graphic Era Dehradun and Anna University. These colleges have been ranked by NIRF Ranking 2020, India Today, The Week and many other ranking agencies. As per my experience I would recommend Lovely Professional University. No ! Sorry to inform you but you can't get admission in B.Tech in nits after just Diploma. Though you cab check out some reputed private college which do in the later entry programme.

Dear Joginder, I can't say about NITs that they offers B.Tech lateral entry programmes or not. I would say there are many good Universities which offers B.Tech programmes including Lateral entry, Integrated, Dual degree programme etc. Lovely Professional University is one of the finest university that I know of. Be it academics, placements or extra-curricular activities. And I am saying this because one of my friend has done B.Tech from LPU only and right now she is working with Amazon. Few points which will help you to take decision:- It is the best private university which always focuses on learning outcomes by letting explore our capabilities. The curriculum blends in with the technology. It provides for multiple industrial exposures, live projects, an updated curriculum rigor and technology along with very good placements and personality development. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help the students.
