I have completed M.Com and ICAI. Should I appear for NET exam?

    As you have completed M.Com and ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India), it is up to you whether you want to appear for the National Eligibility Test (NET) exam or not. Qualifying the NET exam is one of the eligibility criteria for the appointment of Assistant Professor in colleges and universities and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). If you are interested in pursuing a career in teaching or research in Commerce, then qualifying the NET exam may enhance your career opportunities.     Post graduation is the basic eligibility criteria for NET. No other certification is required. You can appear for NET.

    Hi Prasanna,
    The NET exam is the national level exam which makes you eligible for the assistant lectureship and junior research fellowship award. Candidates who are interested in teaching and research or development in their post graduation subject, can appear for the NET Exam. know in detail for UGC NET- https://www.eduncle.com/cbse-ugc-net-exam -check here. The choice is all yours but yes, NET will give you many opportunities as follows:

    Work as junior scientist
