    Hello,As per the exam eligibility criteria, aspirants who have qualified post-graduation with 55% aggregate marks can apply for the exam. Along with that you have to follow age criteria also if you want to apply for Junior Research Fellow. According to that your age must not be more than 30 years. There is relaxation of 5 years is also provided for candidates of reserved categories. For Assistant Professor, there is no age limit. You can apply whenever you want.

    Your age is good enough and age does not matter, hence you can easily apply for the UGC NET exam. 61 percent is good to go. Prepare well.
