    You need to have minimum eligibility of 55% in your Master's degree and also qualify in the LPUNEST entrance exam and interview to get admission in LPU Ph.D programme.

    Yes, you can. You just need to qualify LPUNEST and Interview. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is:
    a) Masters degree with 55% aggregate marks in a relevant discipline or equivalent, subject to clearing LPUNEST and Interview;
    b) Other conditions as prescribed in the Guidelines for Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programmes.
    (5% relaxation to SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ differently-abled candidates)
    Admission Criteria
    An applicant will be short listed for interview on the basis of his/ her score in the entrance examination LPUNEST (Ph.D.).

    Applications for the admission to Ph.D Programme will be invited well in advance and will be made on the basis of LPUNEST (Ph.D) test and interview. The admission will be subject to vacancy being available in the relevant specializations. The candidates who qualify UGC (NET/ JRF)/ CSIR (NET/ JRF)/ ICAR (JRF/ SRF) examination/ SLET (Punjab only)/ GATE or GPAT score card/ ICAR (NET), Teacher Fellowship holder or passed M.Phil Programme (in Regular mode only) will be exempted from entrance test.
