You are eligible to apply for NDA and TES. If you are selected in NDA you can opt for Technical corps of Indian Army and you will be trained as an engineer. TES is for selection in Technical corps only. However, you will serve as a regular Army not in DRDO by selection through NDA or TES. Some technical army officers get a chance to work in DRDO after the rank of Major or Lt Col.
If you want to work in DRDO, you may do engineering from any engineering college and then apply for the job in DRDO. -

5 years agoEligibility Criteria for TES Technical Entry Scheme. Education: Candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
For joining NDA, you need to clear the written examination which is conducted twice a year.
But you need to at least score about 85% in PCM to get a call letter for SSB interview of TES 10+2 entry.
