I have completed my 2 and diploma is it considered as a degree?
i have completed diploma in electrical & electronics ... Can i apply for IAS/IPS .... what is the eligibility criteria ???

actually In India degree (graduation ) courses are approved by AICTE,UGC. Both 12th and Diploma is not counted as degree. However if you want to pursue degree in electrical& electronics then you will be eligible for taking admission into 2nd year of degree directly (lateral entry ) instead of 1st ye

Dear student,
Degree from UGC recognized University is the eligibility condition for sitting in civil service examination (IAS/IPS) conducted by UPSC. What I think -- though you have completed your Diploma after +2 , It will be treated as Diploma, not a Degree one. Best wishes.......
