I have completed my b.com and want to make future in fashion designing is there any future if I do this course from (iift)Gorakhpur ,up

Supriya, There are many careers for the creative/ artistic people. Interiors as well as Web Design rely on the same skills - your layout skills and color sense. A little higher perches Graphic Design, Fashion Design and Fine Arts which rely on one of your artistic skills - sketching and imagination. At a similar level perches VFX as well as Motion Graphics which rely on one of your artistic skills - Cinematographic skills and imagination. Then come careers like Animation, Film Making, Game Design which rely on multiple talents like your authority over sketching, acting, direction, voice, sound, writing, storytelling and problem solving skills etc. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world and hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. You may join the one which matches your interest and time availability. * To join the fashion design course, one needs to pass 12th with 50%. One needs to appear in entrance exam. Some of the entrances are : -Common Entrance Examination for Design, CEED -National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam -International Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam -J D Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam -National Academy of Fashion technology Entrance Exam -National Entrance Examination for Design (NEED) -National Institute of Design Entrance Exam * While selecting an institute, you need to keep in mind the chief point that is to check the recognition. You also need to check year of establishment, batch size, syllabus, faculty, fees, placements etc. Be careful while selecting a college as merely getting a degree is not enough for this competitive world. * Scope : As a fashion designer, there are many avenues and opportunities. You can opt for a career in : -export house -textile mill -manufacturing and processing company that produces clothing, soft furnishings and other textiles-based products -several large fashion and clothing retailers -design studios and consultancies -handloom cooperatives and buying agencies You may even work as freelancer. And with good experience and contacts, you can eventually open his own business. * Salary : Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc. But, to give a brief idea, a fresher can earn around 15-20 thousand per month. If it is ur interest there is definitely a gud future fr u.anything in which u r interested is best option to study. I ll prefer lpu over any other reason is fashion understanding should b global and lpu provides u.because there are students from different regions.and thus Makes a world class experience. more universities like Pearl Academy , NIFT. you can google there sites
