I have completed my b.com with abst. can i go for economist course at pg level ( directly, without completing economics honours at ug level)

I've completed my B.COM (A.B.S.T) this year only. I'm pursuing C.a ( final level). But now i want to change this and go either for lecturarship or for economist. whether it is suitable for me.? My marks are as under: 10th- 90.8% 12th- 84% B.com 1st and 2nd yr- 63%& 72% 3rd year result- awaited
