    M.Sc Maths in applied field from any institution of nation importance, like IITs or so is better for you. You did not mention the stream, where you did B.Tech still Applied Maths is an arena of great scope compared to many Masters.

    Better you pursue M.Tech instead of M.Sc Maths, if you have interest in technical field. And, in future M.Tech have more importance.
