I have completed my BE civil engineering in 2018. I want to become a design engineer. What to do?

I have not performed well in my GATE this year. I am planning to prepare sincerely for next 8 months. Within 8 months, I am planning to study quantity surveying in Dubai. Since career growth and payscale for freshers is very slow, I don't prefer Dubai.

If you are really serious about being a design engineer, I would suggest pursuing M.Des. From a good college. M.Des will serve your interest well and it has a lot of opportunities in India.

You don't need to do much simply opt for short term courses like auto cadd, CATIA, creo, solidworks etc.
