I have completed my BE in mechanical and want to pursue MBA in finance. Will there be a problem for me for the same?

My parents think that it will be difficult for me as I am not from commerce background.

In every B-School, 60-70% students who pursue MBA are engineers. You can search anywhere. They do better than others.

It won't be difficult, rather there are more engineers in any B-school than B.Com or students from any other faculty. But electronics students pursuing MBA are doing well not only in finance but in every field.

Nothing is impossible. Your background is BE, you can still do MBA in finance but you need to work hard as compared to the students from commerce background.
For MBA, everyone who is a graduate is eligible.
