55 percentages states that you have done mistakes while choosing line for B.Tech . I would like to suggest you to go for M.Tech with the specialization of that subject which you loved the most during your B.Tech . and suppose if you are relating fail to find such subject then go for MBA.

It all depends on your choice whether you want to stay in technical field or change to management field. And doing any of these will require entrance exam. Your btech score will not do much.
