I have completed my Diploma in CSE. Can I change my branch after taking admission in a college for B.Tech through lateral entry?

I am Interested in mechanical engineering.

    Mechanical and CSE are two different domains, it is not possible to opt for ME after CSE, you can get in touch with your desired college and re-confirm.

    As far as I know some colleges can provide this favour to you but some of the colleges will not.
