    I have done a Diploma, and I want to pursue my studies, along with the job and can I do B.Tech through distance.

    Never do B.E/B.Tech courses through correspondence or distance mode, because these are not valid by the AICTE and UGC for employment or higher studies purpose. So please avoid this. You can do the lateral or part time B.E. /B.Tech courses from an AICTE approved college.
