Diploma cannot be considered to be equal to graduation, but after a diploma you have opportunity for lateral entry admissions to a BTech Programme. You must clear state level lateral entry admission tests with a good score. After the completion of B tech you will be an engineering graduate.

Thank you Sir for the answer , I got my lateral entry and currently am in my final year B.E in Mechanical Engineering .
