I have completed my engg. around 10 yrs back. I would like to pursue a course in designing - pref. product/industrial design - possible?

I would like to pursue a correspondence course as of now. Are correspondence courses in designing available & beneficial? Could I get a certification?

    Anamika, I am an engineer and now into design, so please consider reading about various design fields that a person with same capabilities can pursue. Also, design is an experiential field so correspondence study may defeat the purpose. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD.
