Hello, UGC NET is an exam through which candidates are selected for the post of Assistant Professor and for Junior Research Fellowship. To appear in this exam it is essential to have a Master's degree. Candidates appearing in the final semester of post-graduation can also appear in UGC NET Exam. So, if you are in the final year of MBA then you can apply for the UGC NET Exam. Make sure you also meet with the required eligibility criteria to appear in NET like age norms and others.

You are eligible in final year, and should have 55% or more.
  • Hello Shalini,
If you're pursuing MBA in second year then definitely you're eligible for NET exam. Students awaiting for the result and passed are eligible for NET.
All the best for your future.
