Yes, you can apply in result awaited category. NET is conducted for different disciplines of science like: 1. Chemical. 2. Life science. 3. Earth science. 4. Physical science. 5. Mathematical science.

You may opt to give NET however the preparation required is a lot hence you can invest time to prepare
