I have completed my graduation (B.Sc. ) with botany, chemistry, biotechnology. And completed post graduation (M.Sc. ) in Biotechnology. +B.Ed. Am I eligible for PGT (biology)post? Please response as soon as possible.

4 years agoYes, you are eligible for the PGT as you have completed PG in biotech. Along with this you should have scored atleast 55% in your PG. -
As per the KVS and NVS PGT eligibility criteria Candidate should have PG in Botany/Zoology/Life Science/Bio Science/Genetics/Micro Biology/Bio Technology/Molecular Biology/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level+ B.Ed. Because you have not studied Zoology at UG level. Hence you are not eligible here for PGT. While for UP-PGT, Candidates having Masters Degree in English / Hindi / Physics / Chemistry / Maths / Economics / History / Geography / Commerce / Biology / Physics and other relevant subjects with minimum 55% marks & Major Subject of Post Graduation must be a subject in Graduation and hav...more
