I have completed my graduation(BSC.CS). Currently I am working and planing to do part time mba (in IT) from a well renowned institute.

I have 1 yr of experience, what I think is studying mba in IT would be an added advantage for me since it would teach me management as well as technology. Because MCA subjects are more into programming languages and hardware. It would not teach me anything about management.

Pranali, If you are confused about careers after 12th/ graduation, there are a few ways to approach this. Typically IT companies don't go for managers without hands on experience of programming. If you are very good with maths and programming, opt for Computers (BTech or BCA). I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up Programming and take a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). First you decide whether you want to go in pure technical line or want to go in Business Administration line. MBA is needed only when u want to go business administration line but if u want to go in pure technical line then there are some more industry specific specializations needed. If your programming skills are not perfect then u can opt System Administration or Network Administration or Security Administration or Cloud expert or System Architect line. for that you will have to go for some Global Certifications like RHCSA, RHCE, RHCVA, RHCA, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
