This is the criteria you have to fulfill for TGT biology :
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) with Biology/Botany/Zoology/Biochemistry as a core subject (50%+ marks usually required).
M.Sc in Biochemistry is accepted since it falls under Life Sciences.
B.Ed degree (Mandatory) for most schools (KVS/NVS/State Govt).
Teaching Certification:
CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) or State TET (e.g., UPTET, HTET) clearance is required for government schools.

To be eligible for the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)Biology position, the general requirement is:-
- A Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject (Biology or related fields) with at least 50% marks.
- A B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree or equivalent qualification.
- Passing the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE, is often mandatory.
