Hello Brahmmala, As per the NTA guidelines candidates who have completed their Masters degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks (for General) or 50% aggregate marks (for OBC/SC/ST/PwD) or are in the qualifying year can apply for the UGC NET exam. UGC NET exam is conducted in 81 subjects. Candidates can apply for the UGC NET exam with their post graduation subject or related to that. Yes, you are eligible to appear for the UGC NET Exam. As you said that you have completed your M.Tech in ECE, so you can choose any relevant subject. Along with this, you must fulfill other eligibility criteria like:
1) Required minimum 55% (for general category) in your Master's.
