I have completed my MSc General microbiology with 74%marks.Now i am interest to do my PhD in USA.what are the procedure for joining?

I have completed my MSc Microbiology from tamilnadu india.I scored 74%. I want to get into an PhD and study in USA.I have 1 year experience in hospital field as microbiologist
