I have completed my UG with more than 60%. Why have I been awarded second class remark?

I completed first two years of graduation from Lucknow University with aggregate 65% marks in 2012 after 2 years, I applied for the lateral entry admission in Annamalai University and scored 57.75% in the 3rd year. In my degree, it is written that I passed with second division marks.
