I have completed one year in MCA , should i drop MCA from u.t.u for Msc cs pondichery university ? expert advice needed.

I have completed 1st year of M.C.A from uttarakhand technical university. But now i want to join Msc cs from pondichery university or kurukshetra university , I am confused in that should i leave Mca for Msc or not. If i left Mca then period of Mca will be gap year for me or not? please help me
