    Hi Chandrika, Yes, the Diploma candidates can apply for the UGC NET. As per the official notification, the candidates must have completed post graduation degree with more than 55% marks from recognised university. The candidates can apply only for their post graduation or its related subjects only. As you have completed PG in urban planning and development you can apply for UGC NET Population studies. For NET lectureship, there is no age limit, But age of candidates must be below 30 years for NET JRF. Hop
