I have completed UG and scored 520 marks out of 800 in MAT Feb 2018. Do I have any chance of getting admission in GU for MBA?

Candidates looking to apply to the School of Hospitality and Tourism (SHT) at Dnyaan Prasad Global University's MBA programme are welcome to submit scores from national-level examinations that are approved by the university. There are many types of national-level examinations from the list below that would be accepted by the SHT and are valid for selection purposes. Scores from nationwide entrance exams will be an integral component of a candidate's application for eligibility. Each candidate's entrance exam score must be accompanied by a thorough review of the candidate's academic performance and experience and a series of interviews and group discussions; therefore, by this means, the university assesses potential applicants from a broad range of academic and professional backgrounds, so that potential applicants have multiple avenues to demonstrate their qualification.

GIBS does not have an additional reservation policy for students applying through CAT or MAT. Admission is based entirely upon merit, and students can apply using their scores from the national level entrance exams: CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT and GIBS 's own entrance exam. Each student will be assessed equally, through group discussions and personal interviews following their qualifying exams. The institution does not adhere to a set quota for any particular entrance exam; therefore, a student's overall performance and aptitude, as well as communication skills, will be taken into consideration. A wide range of applicants from different backgrounds will have equal opportunities for admission based on their ability and potential, rather than having admissions based upon specific exam reservations.

MAT scores are one of the factors taken into consideration when determining whether or not a student is eligible for financial aid/scholarships through GIBS. The school awards merit-based scholarships to students who achieve high scores on any of the following nationalized entrance exams: MAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, etc. Additionally, students with walking scores will have a greater likelihood of receiving financial assistance, as awards are given in acknowledgement of exceptional performance or potential in academics. Besides evaluating a student merely on his/her exam results, GIBS will take an overall view of the student's application, including their prior academic work, extra-curricular participation, and interview results, so that deserving students will not have to carry a larger financial burden than necessary while pursuing their management studies and then establishing a successful career.
