    It seems to be an interesting career enhancing strategy on your part. It can augment your strength in the language and surely be beneficial for your career in English media.     Yes you can do, you have to satisfy eligibility criteria of the University where you will apply for admission. With English . receiving increased demand in India, most of the youngsters are willing to do Masters in English Literature. This Queen's Language is getting homely treatment in this country now.     Yes, you can purse the course. There are many universities that offer M.A. In English . Being a part of LPU, I can share Information regarding this course in LPU. The programme in M.A. English focuses on literary analysis and criticism of English literature with an intellectual journey through poetry, theatre and fiction.     Hi,
    Although, you should pursue your post-graduation in the same genre, nevertheless, if you have decided to do M.A. English then you can do it from any private college. My opinion is that instead of a private college you should go ahead with a private university. Like there is one such private university of great repute in northern India.
