I have done B.A in one language. Can I pursue an M.A in other language?

  • Yes, you can pursue BA course in one language and MA in another language. However, you need to do proper research before opting for another language in MA. Since, MA is an advanced degree it is required that you should have basic proficiency in the language. For more postgraduate level programmes you may have to qualify for entrance exams. The syllabus of these exams will include topics from BA course of the same language. So, you may have to study the books for BA courses of the language you wish to pursue in MA course.
