Hi, As you have B.Com degree, you can not apply for MBA in NIT Rourkela this year. Because according to the eligibility criteria for studying MBA in NIT Rourkela is B.Tech with 7.0 CGPA in engineering in any stream . Next year the administrative department is planning to include B.Com/B.Sc students, but official notification is not out yet. so lets see and wait till official notification. you can get admission in other reputed colleges also in India as well as abroad, it offers good placement too.The placements for MBA students is good enough. More than 50% of the students got placed in the reputed companies. The highest package was 6 LPA CTC, and the lowest package offered was 3.5 lpa. Ibooks, Akash, Fortitude and TCS visited the campus. As our program offers specialization in HR, Marketing and Finance, so companies relating to these specializations only visit the campus. Earlier we have operations, but recently this specialization is not being offered. Roles like sales executive, marketing manager, HR manager and accountant were provided. All the best for future.
