I have done B Com via EIILM University through distance education in 2013. Can I appear for further studies or job?

As per university website, EIILM University – Sikkim is fully recognized and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is established under Sikkim State Legislature Act No. 4, 2006, Government of Sikkim. Therefore, degrees awarded by university are valid for job and higher studies.
