I have done B.E. in I.T. .I am thinking to switch to the teaching line ( at primary/secondary level) is this possible for govt schools
I have done B.E and I have 5 yrs of experience in software industry. I am looking for work life balance and so I want to switch to teaching .Please tell if it is possible to teach in private and govt schools at primary and secondary level. Also what additional qualifications I need for it. thanx

Hi,
You can chose to pursue B.ED and then sit for TGT.
Trained Graduate Teachers should have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject for recruitment and B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from a recognize

For some subjects like IT,private schools may not require a B.Ed degree because lack of good trainers.So you can try looking up for a job.
