    Eligibility of this programme at LPU is pass with 60% aggregate marks in Bachelors of Science Degree (Home Science or Medical or Non-Medical or Biosciences or Medical Science and Allied Medical or Nutrition and Dietetics or Food Technology or Veterinary Microbiology and Parasitology or Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology or Clinical Chemistry or Public Health and Allied Sciences) or equivalent.     Eligibility for M.Sc in nutrition and dietetics:
    Candidates aspiring for admission to the course are required to fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria.
    Graduation or another such equivalent course in a relevant discipline, completed from a recognized university.
    Graduation needs to have been completed in any of:
    Home Science
    Nutrition or Dietetics
    Food Science
    Biology
    Microbiology
    Clinical Biochemistry
    Life Sciences
    BNYS (Naturopathy)
    BAMS (Ayurveda)
    A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.
    Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply for the course on provisional basis.

    Yes you are eligible to pursue M.Sc. In Nutrition even after B.Sc. Chemistry. After pursuing B.Sc. In Zoology you can enrolled yourself for the M.Sc. In Food technology and it's good asper the purpose of job opportunities. You can find jobs in FMCG industry easily both in office QA/ QC and marketing jobs are their. Yes u can do, M.Sc. In food technology is a very good option.
