I have done B.Sc. In biotechnology so can I apply for M.Sc. Botany is it possible. ?

Yes of course you can do M.Sc Botany post your graduation in Biotechnology in LPU. A four semester programme, to enable graduate students to pursue doctoral studies or professional employment, through imparting in depth knowledge in plant biology along with three semester independent research project leading to dissertation. Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree ( Medical Science and Allied Medical or Biosciences or Life Sciences or Plant Science) or Botany or equivalent. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) You need a minimum of M.Sc/ M.Tech to get an entry level job. As biotechnology syllabi in most colleges include most of the topics taught in life sciences, you should find it relatively easier to choose and Excel in any field you do your M.Sc in. The hottest fields right now are molecular biology, computational biology, biochemistry, genetics etc. You can also apply for Pharma. You can also study law, specialising in bioethics. It is a 4 year course, as far as I know, though you might want to research on that a bit. An M.Sc +B.Ed degree will also make you eligible to teach in schools or lecturers in a college (small colleges, only. As most central level universities ask for PhD).
