I have done B.Sc. Zoology (Hons.) with Botany as subsidiary subject in my graduation along with B.Ed. Am I eligible for TGT?

<p>A Bsc Zoology (Hons.) degree together with Botany as a subsidiary subject and BEd training makes you qualified to pursue the TGT opening for schools that follow either Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or state board regulations. The CBSE requirements state that applicants can qualify for TGT in Biology when they hold a minimum of 50% in their Botany or Zoology Bachelor degree and when they fulfilled the B.Ed requirement with 50% marks. An applicant must successfully complete the mandatory CTET or STET exam to become eligible for TGT recruitment and this qualification remains valid for seven years. The monthly salary range for TGT falls between INR 44,900 and INR 1,42,400.</p>
