    Hi Dwaraka,
    With your background, I would suggest Operations as that would add value to your experience and education. But, need not be a compulsion, as by end of the day, it's all about your passion that you want to work in near future.

    Generally engineers go for Operations as it requires technical knowlegde. But there is no hard and fast rule. You can choose any stream you like. Be it finance or HR. Its totally different from engineering, so it will be starting from stratch again. Choose a branch that you will be comfortable working with for the rest of your life. good luck

    You can choose any specialization according to your interest. Its solely your choice in which industry you want to make a career. A little bit of research can help you in deciding what all electives you want to take as your majors and minors.
