I have done B.Tech in IT. Can I do M.Tech in Environmental Engineering?

<p>Though your IT experience goes back quite as far as October 2023 when you learnt about it, there may still be times when you might have to take some extra bridging courses or prerequisites in order to pursue M.Tech degree in Environmental Engineering. In general, M.Tech programs in Environmental Engineering are intended for learners who have studied Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or any other similar field. Some universities on the other hand could offer interdisciplinary programs that may include students from other departments with strong motivation and appropriate work experiences. It is advisable to emphasize any pertinent projects that you have done, training courses taken or certifications acquired in environmental engineering or a related field when applying since it increases your chances of admission. Also necessary would be an unfathomable grasp of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and environmental Science among other key concepts. Last but not least you should always check if the preferred university/departments have specific eligibility criteria and what other additional needs they require.</p>
